About Us
Verdant Intimates is a modern lingerie line founded, designed and ethically crafted in New York City. Through a focus on impeccable fit and elevated design, we aim to bridge the gap between function and luxury, powered by the belief that women deserve to feel not only comfortable, but confident throughout every phase of their lives.
The brand was founded in 2023 by Eleanor Mooney and Michelle Bergmann, two veterans of the lingerie industry with over a decade of experience fitting thousands of diverse women. Verdant’s approach to intimates prioritizes the use of high quality fabrics that are easy to wear, beautifully designed pieces that provide support even as we age and evolve. Each collection is developed based on customer feedback with an intentional focus on fit.
At its core, Verdant Intimates creates quality pieces that are functional, timeless, effortless, and sophisticated, elevating lingerie essentials while providing support for modern, active lifestyles—and the women who lead them.

Michelle Bergmann
With a Technical Design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology and years of experience working with the top luxury lingerie and swimwear brands, Michelle Bergmann co-founded Verdant Intimates with a vision that offers a refreshing alternative to other lingerie brands. Michelle's "Less is more" aesthetic paired with her pattern-making and technical knowledge delivers quality pieces that provide comfort and fit without sacrificing design.
Our Approach
Most lingerie is fit using what we call professional “fit models” who typically wear the garment samples for just a short period of time, and only while standing. For all future collections, we prefer to have everyday bodies serve as the fit models for our pieces. The samples are worn throughout an entire day to ensure they maintain their comfort and shape. We believe that this approach allows us to create lingerie that fits and flatters a wider range of body types and sizes.
